We needed a relaxing break and the cottage delivered. The cottage has everything you need for your home away from home. Great location only a couple of minutes away from the heart of Montville and Flaxton. We stayed with our dogs and the yard and deck where very secure. Bedrooms were huge and the beds very comfortable.

The only thing I noticed is when I went to grab something under the bed in the 2nd room it was quite dusty, but a minor thing.

Exceptional view and comfy beds

The lounge was so uncomfortable and completely worn out with no support. I got a sore back from sitting in it. You need a new comfy lounge that will accommodate at least 5 or 6 guests. There are currently only 4 seats available when the house sleeps 7. I think you need to focus on the guests comfort with the lounge not the aesthetics. The path into the house was terrible. It was a muddy water hole at the gate making it extremely difficult to bring luggage in. You need a to fill in the hole and put in a proper pathway not uneven slippery small stepping stones. It was a safety hazard.

Beautiful view and handy location very near Kondalila Falls and the Flaxton Barn. Delightful south-facing wrap-around balcony and under-cover parking for 2 vehicles. Large, well-appointed kitchen (but I couldn't find a corkscrew). Good bathrooms with plenty of hot water.

Despite letting WelcomeReady know on the Saturday, the ducted Heating/AC didn't work & on 2 nights it was very cold (there were good doonas & blankets on the beds but sitting around was chilly). There was something wrong with the wood-burning fire's flue in the lounge room & we couldn't light a fire despite trying 3 nights in a row, buying fire starters, gathering dry tinder & more matches etc. I was disappointed because I chose the accomm based on the wood fire. There was no hairdryer.
