Pas de wifi dans les chambres, niveau d’insonorisation de chambres médiocre, chemin de fer juste sous les fenêtres. Petit déjeuner très modeste

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. An Vormittag wurden wir telefonisch kontaktiert und um Ankunftszeit und Angebot an Abendessen befragt. Das Chateau hat das Konzept, da kein Koch vor Ort ist, ein Menü (Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert) im Kühlschrank zu deponieren und der Gast kann den Hauptgang dann in der Mikrowelle warm machen. Wir waren etwas skeptisch, aber müssen zugeben: Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Beim Frühstück ähnlich, zwar etwas übersichtlich, aber man konnte sich aus diversen Angeboten bedienen. Vertrauensvoll auch der Umgang mit den Getränken: Diverse standen zur Verfügung, die man nehmen und dann halt am nächsten Morgen bezahlen konnte. Die Zimmer sind super. Schade, dass das Chateau etwas außerhalb der üblichen Zentren liegt,

The property has been renovated to a high standard with lots of character as well as modern touches. Beautiful spacious room.

We booked here as the hotel was advertised as having a restaurant on site. The name also gave a certain impression of what to expect. We were very disappointed to find that this was not the case. We were in fact provided with a plated meal which we were expected to heat in a microwave ourselves! The salad starter and fruit and cake dessert were both underwhelming. There was no staff on site although the owner responded quickly to text messages when we asked questions. The Wi-Fi required a very long code which could easily have been changed to a shorter one for convenience. With a little effort this could be a lovely place to stay. We left feeling disappointed.
