3 Bedroom Beautiful Home In Carrouges

Nous étions 7 avec un chien. Il y a eu assez d'espace pour tout le monde. Avec l'été caniculaire, le jardin ombragé et les chambres fraîches ont été très appréciés. Le fait de se garer facilement et que le jardin soit bien sécurisé avec une barrière pour empêcher les enfants de sortir est un vrai plus. Maison tout équipé et confortable.

Point noir sur le fait que le lave linge ne fonctionnait pas car il fuit. La toiture est abimée et une tuile est tombée un soir, heureusement avec personne en dessous. Le propriétaire en est informé et a expliqué que normalement des travaux devaient être entrepris prochainement. Globalement la maison mériterait d'être plus entretenu. Elle a un potentiel d'une note de 10 mais le manque d'entretien et la crainte de casser des choses facilement gâche un peu l'expérience et tous les points positifs énoncés avant.

not much happening locally. quiet town.

The house was very spacious - lovely large and bright open plan living space. Good sized bathroom. Kitchen fairly well equipped - small dishwasher with a wonderful cutlery drawer on top, small oven, gas hob, enough saucepans and cooking utensils. Whilst Gilbert didn't have any English he was very welcoming and helpful.

Whilst the house smelt clean and all the bedding was clean and bathroom clean, there were lots of cobwebs in corners and above curtain rails etc. Quite a few spiders around on our arrival! Also was a bit strange to have the basement and upper floor curtained off in a small dark hall. We just had access to the ground floor which was plenty. Overall the house has perhaps seen better days - it doesn't just look quite as good as the photos. Having said that we had a very comfortable holiday with great space for our family of 6. A little quirky with several pieces of taxidermy!
