At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. Rooftop yoga classes, kid’s crafts and activities, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies—where you can watch a fun movie on the big screen from the pool or lagoon—are just some of the fun events you can experience when you stay at the Desert Color community!
Your key fob will also grant you access to the Sky Decks on top of the Promenade, Surf, and Sand Buildings on the SW side of the Lagoon. Enjoy the rooftop hot tub, lounge chairs, and community views from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Please note, the Sand Building does not have a rooftop hot tub, but you are welcome to enjoy the hot tubs on top of the Surf or Promenade Buildings.

It was very clean and accurately described on VRBO. The kitchen was very well organized and had more than what I needed. The condo was about as close to the pool and lagoon as you can get. It was easy to communicate with Red Rock Vacations. They were super prompt in replying to my questions. They provided beach towels for the lagoon and absolutely enough laundry soap, dryer sheets, trash bags, dishwasher soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner and even coffee for the keurig. I had a nice place to park my vehicle under shade and felt very safe walking to it at night. The rooftop hot tub was perfect. I just wish it was open past 10pm so I could enjoy it longer after the sun went down. I stayed at the end of June so daytime was way too hot for the roof. There is a lot of comfortable seating on the roof in addition to a gas fireplace:table and a grill. I’m sure it’s wonderful when the weather isn’t as hot.
There were four things that I would change to make my stay better. The first is to not hear kids running in the condo above mine. Second, to have a dresser and sturdier bedside tables in the bedrooms. Third, to have curtains that completely blocked the light at night. Lastly, to have larger beds in the second bedroom instead of bunk beds. My 15 year old daughter was too uncomfortable to sleep in the bunk bed.
Overall, I recommend Red Rock Vacations, Desert Color and specifically this well stocked and maintained condo on the ground floor of the Promenade building,
