It rained every day we were there. But, it made the stay more enjoyable due to the front porch and rocking chairs.

The property was beautiful. The porches were perfect for the 3 days of rain to sit in the rocking chairs and read. The only thing I would change is better lighting inside. I like to read and was having a hard time because the lighting was rather dim. We were also disappointed in the fact that we were unable to use the indoor fireplace. As I said, it rained every day we were there. It would have been nice to have it to take the chill out of the air.

It was very clean and quiet as the property was set back in the woods with no outside distractions. Hot tub was very clean and enjoyable.

Overall the cabin was clean and good location but the hot tub was broken and would not turn on. We were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of travel and hiking. Unfortunately nobody could come out and fix the hot tub during our stay. The driveway is very steep with a sharp turn at the top which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. We liked that there weren’t any visible neighbors so it felt like we were alone in the woods.
