Welcome to our modern and comfortably furnished vacation apartment, “Inselfreiheit 1,” located at Birkenweg 1c. The approximately 70 m² apartment is located on the right side of the first floor of the house and offers plenty of space for up to 5 people and 1 toddler in a travel crib. The tasteful furnishings, the spacious layout, and the private garden area create the perfect conditions for a relaxing vacation on Fehmarn.
Wi-Fi is available through a third-party provider.

Living & Sleeping – Plenty of Space for the Whole Family

The vacation rental features a spacious living area as well as two separate bedrooms, offering plenty of privacy for families and couples.
The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed (180 × 200 cm).
The second bedroom is particularly well-suited for children and features a bunk bed. The lower bunk measures a generous 140 × 200 cm, and the upper bunk measures 90 × 200 cm. Both bedrooms are equipped with their own TV.
For our youngest guests, a travel crib with an additional folding mattress and a high chair are available.

Living & Entertainment – Enjoy Cozy Moments

The spacious living room is cozy and tastefully furnished. A comfortable seating area invites you to relax after an eventful day of vacation. Entertainment is provided by a modern flat-screen TV, a hi-fi system, and a Blu-ray player.
A special highlight during the cooler months is the fireplace in the living area, which creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Please bring your own seasoned firewood and fire starters if needed.

Cooking & Dining – Fully Equipped Kitchen

The open kitchenette offers everything you need to prepare your own meals during your stay. Amenities include a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle.
Of course, plenty of dishes and silverware are provided. Please bring your own supplies such as dish sponges, dish towels, and dish soap.
The cozy, extendable dining table comfortably seats up to 5 adults and 1 toddler in a high chair—ideal for shared meals and social evenings.

Modern, Comfortable Bathroom

The bathroom with a shower is modern and comfortably equipped. Underfloor heating and a towel warmer ensure pleasant warmth, especially on cooler days. A hair dryer is located in the cabinet under the sink.
One roll of toilet paper is provided at the start of your stay.

Patio & Private Garden Area – Outdoor Relaxation

From the living room, you have direct access to the spacious patio with a garden area. Garden furniture, a hammock, a patio umbrella, and a grill invite you to spend relaxing hours in the fresh air—whether enjoying breakfast together, sunbathing, or having a cozy barbecue evening.

Pet-Friendly – Vacation with Your Four-Legged Friend

Your dogs are also very welcome here, so you can enjoy your vacation together. Unfortunately, other pets, such as cats, birds, or rabbits, are not permitted.

Convenient Extras for a Stress-Free Stay

For added comfort, an ironing board and iron are available for your use. All rooms in the vacation rental are also equipped with fly screens.
A private, marked parking space is also included with the apartment, ensuring a hassle-free arrival.
From the start of spring break until the end of fall break, a bike shed is also available for your use. This is shared by the ground-floor and upper-floor apartments.

The numerous attractions in the surrounding area ensure there’s never a dull moment and make your vacation both relaxing and unforgettable.

You can optionally book an early check-in (arrival from 10 a.m.) or a late check-out (departure by 4 p.m.) for an additional fee of €20.00 each. We can confirm these options no earlier than 1 week before arrival or departure; please send inquiries via email. During peak season, early check-in and late check-out are unfortunately not possible due to direct consecutive bookings.
Note regarding consecutive bookings during the high season: During the high season, we can only accept consecutive bookings; this means that each booking must follow directly from the previous and the subsequent booking.
