Town: The charming Menai Straits and the mountains beyond are seen from the small settlement of Llandegfan, which is perched above their sloping banks. Wonderful Beaumaris, with its moated castle, unique shops, cafes, and pubs, is only three miles away. You may travel 3 miles in the opposite way to reach Menai Bridge, which has an iconic suspension bridge, lovely footpaths, and a range of dining options, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. The town has its own lake for coarse fishing and is conveniently located near a vast network of pathways. One favourite is to make the inclining descent to the Gazelle hotel for a pint.
