Roomy Hideaway in Great Location - Walk to Downtown

Come find our surprisingly spacious and comfortable apartment tucked in to a large gracious house in a perfect location. The "always cool in the summer" space is a welcome respite after a day on the water or the trail, and the river view is sweet. With an open lay-out and 3 nicely spaced bedrooms, we are a great choice for families or a group of friends.


The apartment has a great open layout, with 3 bedrooms and one large bathroom. Folks can spread out into their private and quiet rooms, or hang together where the kitchen and 2 living areas all open into one space. Outside we have a little grassy yard that is all yours, complete with comfortable patio furniture where you can enjoy a peek at the river. New beds, nice linens and all the amenities you need for cooking await. An added favorite are the huge furry bean bags, known as "Lovesacs", where you can sink in and relax for conversation, a book or a good movie.


Guests have access to the apartment through a separate door at the back of the house. They have use of the driveway, the walkway and area between the path and the side of the house, which is perfect for stowing any recreational gear. There is also a private yard well separated from our outdoor living space.


Since the apartment is right below our house, there will be times when you will hear noise from above. Footsteps carry, and other sounds can carry too. We have a piano, which sits right above the kitchen, and we try not to play it at all in the evening, and mostly only play when we know guests are away from the apartment. If any noise is bothering you, we ask that you just let us know - don't suffer in silence! We may forget and just need a reminder. And it’s totally fine to tell us!
