About this house rental
Long term stay discounts. Relax at the peaceful, family friendly Shorebird Cottage, just a short 5-7 minute walk away from the beach! This is a brand new, custom built luxury home that was tastefully designed and furnished. You’ll find our serene cottage has all that your family needs for your beach vacation! The large spacious kitchen is fully equipped. You’ll also find beach accessories, toys and towels. There’s even a game room in garage.
The large living room has plenty of space for the whole crew to relax and play. There’s a smart TV with Sling live TV. There’s plenty of comfortable seating, along with a pullout queen sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to entertain and host. Including complimentary coffee. The dining table has room for the whole family and more! The main bedroom is large and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Baby friendly items are stored in the closet (pack n’ play, high chair, stroller). Theres two guest bedrooms, both tastefully designed. One room has a queen bed, and the other has two twins. They share a jack and jill bathroom, with an extra 1/2 bath in the hallway. The laundry room has added capacity washer and dryers for all of your laundry needs. Walk down the stairs and into the game room which includes seating, pool table and foose ball (not climate controlled). Theres another half bath in the garage/game room. There’s also a propane grill for that surf and turf dinner. There’s a large deck off the front of the house with a covered patio and dining.
Best of all you’re just a short walk away from a pristine, open beach! You’ll find just about everything you’ll need on site to have relaxing beach days with your family in that warm sunny sand. List of beach items below.
There are several great local restaurants, a grocery store (Publix) and plenty of outdoor activities just a few minutes away. Close to St Augustine and Daytona Beach! About a mile away you’ll find Washington Oaks State Park, Matanza Fort (1700’s fort/National Monument) and an expansive bike trail. About an hour away is the Kennedy Space Center where you can occasionally see a launch from the Cape! About 1 1/2 hours away and you’re at Disney!

We like five things very much about this property!1. The location. Very close to the beach, no major road to cross to get there. 5 min walk. Also, the city of St. Augustine has much to offer in terms of sights, history and places to eat. After coming in from the beach, we went there every night.2. Very clean premises. My wife is obsessed with cleaning, and this place leaves nothing to be desired. Everything needed to clean up a minor spill of, for example, water, coffee grounds, etc. is there and accessible. Even a vacuum cleaner.3. The place is stocked with all of the basic supplies you need. Sugar, coffee pods, spices, paper towels, tissues. Besides the requisite towels for everyone, there were also beach towels. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, body wash and lotion, just like at a hotel.4. It has a garage we were able to drive into, which kept the car from heating up during the day.5. Communication with the host is near-immediate, very direct and personable. It is obvious that he is someone who cares about the place and his guest’s well-being and comfortable stay.

This property is amazing. Seriously. I will always want to come back here when I come down to stay with my family here in Flagler Beach.Greg is amazing to communicate with. Always prompt. Attentive to needs.There is everything you can use for the beach here, and there’s everything to use for multiple people staying. The open floor plan is great for family gatherings.And the garage is packed with games to play such as foosball and pool and Jenga. We all had a great time hanging out in that finished part of the garage, which also included a bathroom, lighting, and ceiling fans.

This property is beautiful! When we entered, we were surprised how much larger than the photos suggested it was. Usually it’s the other way around.
Everything was super-clean. The furnishings are all high-quality. There is a lot of evidence of the attention to detail that the owners put into this property. It was hard to leave and head back home!
The proximity to a naturally exclusive ocean beach was perfect. The walk there takes less than 5 min.
A lot of supplies are provided, and abundantly, too. There is practically no need to head out for things like dish washer or washing machine detergent. Even salt, pepper, sugar and many spices are provided. A foodie practically has all the needed tools for cooking a gourmet meal. There are plenty of dishes making only one dish washer run a day necessary.
This is true luxury, which does not rely on extravagance, but shows the owners’ lavish thoughtfulness in making their guests’ stay as worry-free as possible.
