The apartment's interior has been recently and tastefully renovated. It features all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay, with a pleasant rear view of the woods. Parking is available next to the building, within a private area. It has a lot of potential, but...

The stairs and the area surrounding the building leave a lot to be desired. I actually consider the stairs dangerous, and I wonder if there aren't inspections for this type of accommodation in France... probably not... The surrounding area has a run-down feel and is quite isolated, which made me very uneasy.

Bijzondere lokatie net buiten de prachtige stad Orleans. Oud landelijk pand met redelijk goed ingericht appartement. Alle functionele zaken zijn aanwezig, keuken is compleet. WiFi is perfect. Volop ruimte om te parkeren, op eigen terrein. Authentiek en goed restaurant aan de Loire (op 700m). Jammer dat de Loire bijna droog stond (zomer 2026).

Het is een oud pand, dus je hoort mensen lopen. Als iedereen zich gedraagt hoeft het geen probleem te zijn. In ons geval was het huis niet vol. 3 kamers in gebruik. Het is een oud pand als gezegd en alles is nog niet af, gelukkig de kamer wel. We hadden vriendelijk contact met de eigenaar via e-mail, maar nooit iemand gezien. Zomer 2026, dus het was hier erg warm, bij aankomst 40C, de kamer was de eerste twee nachten tot 3:00 niet te harden, maar ja, zonder airco was dat in iedere woning zo. Dus mochten de zomers hier zo blijven, is het iets om rekening mee te houden.
