Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur etwa 4 Min. Fußmarsch bis Bahnhof, u. a. nach Pompeji und Neapel. In unmittelbarer Nähe 2 große Supermarkets. Das Haus verfügt über eigenen Parkplatz, nur für die Einwohner der Villa. Bis Herculaneum sind nur 7 Min. Fußweg.
Die Ferienwohnung wird von Francesca verwaltet, die sehr aufmerksam, höfflich und schnell alle Probleme lösen kann.
Der zum Hof gehörende Garten ist voll von Mandarinenbäumen. Die Früchte sind gut essbar.
Die Einfahrt in den Hof ist für einen längeren Wagen relativ umständlich und könnte breiter werden. Die Villa wurde aber im XIX gebaut und ihre Architektur kann jetzt nicht mehr verändert werden. Trotz alledem warten die Fahrer auf der Straße geduldig, bis man die Kurve in die Einfahrt gemeistert hat.

The apartment is on the top floor of a super old characterful building built in 1911, with red carpet and elegant furnishings up the wooden staircase. The large main room has shuttered balcony windows open onto a slightly overgrown green space and garden with mature trees, including (in February) fruiting oranges. Apart from a party downstairs on Sat night, my stay was wonderfully peaceful with the only real noise being birdsong! As a caffeine addict, I was pleased to find that a tin of good Italian coffee and a percolator were provided in the small kitchen. The host, Francesca, was very attentive and kindly booked a taxi for me when a train strike forced a change to my travel plans. The apartment was very good value for money (even considering it was the off-season when I stayed). It is 5 mins from the station and I found it a great base for my week exploring the Roman sites of the Bay of Naples
The bed could perhaps be more comfortable and British couples who are used to two pillows each might want to mention that. As I was travelling solo it was no problem. If you are of larger proportions you may find it a squeeze to get into the shower cubicle.

La posizione è ottima e l’alloggio non sarebbe affatto male, anche il “gestore” dello stabile è stato molto gentile.
La pulizia è terribile. A parte le formiche (difficili da combattere), troppa polvere, peli, capelli….
