I liked the location close to St. Pancras en the nice view.

Location was great, instructions were clear and communicated promptly
Bathroom was in a state of disrepair, it was clean though.
There was no bedside lamp which meant climbing out of bed to switch the light off.

This was a great room! I really appreciated all the measures the landlord had taken to make it quiet, especially the foam strips along doors to stop them slamming (which is a major issue in similar kinds of rooms in London). The location is also perfect.

Room is conveniently located for St.Pancras trains and affordable (for London). Advantage of a private room for a price close to that of a hostel. Cleanliness was okay. Flat was quiet (and also no street noises outside). High floor view. Host responded quickly to messages. Possible to make a coffee/tea in the kitchen. The room had a door lock.
Accommodation was advertised as female only, but there was a man living in the flat (and the flat itself small). It felt as if my moves were somehow being monitored - for example, when I was leaving (about an hour earlier than the mutually agreed checkout time at 11) and was about to place the key in the checkout box, a man suddenly appeared and asked that I hand him the key. How did he know that I was leaving for good? (And I could have simply left the key in the keybox, as per checkout instructions). Nothing bad happened, but I felt uncomfortable (mistrust / lack of privacy / independence).
No options to store luggage in the building before/after checkout (there are paid lockers in the area).
Other guests will probably have no issues, but just some things to be aware of.
