The Tranquil Retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at Tranquil Retreat in Canungra and honestly wish we could have stayed longer! The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, the perfect place to switch off and enjoy being surrounded by nature. One of our favourite parts was the sheep! Such a gorgeous addition to the property and something that made the stay feel extra special. Falling asleep at night and waking up in the morning to nothing but the sounds of nature was just beautiful. The house itself had absolutely everything we needed and was so comfortable and welcoming. The fireplace kept the whole house beautifully warm, and sitting around the outdoor fire pit was such a highlight of our stay. We were only there for the weekend, but it is definitely somewhere we could comfortably stay for much longer. It feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful while still being close enough to Canungra township, so you really get the best of both worlds. Kate was absolutely wonderful from start to finish, so welcoming, helpful and lovely to deal with. You can really tell how much care has gone into creating such a beautiful place for people to enjoy. We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay and would absolutely come back. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful and relaxing to escape for a few days or longer, this is the place. Highly recommend! ❤️

Honestly, nothing! We loved everything about our stay and wouldn’t change a thing. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
