Kings Palace - spacious 2-bed with sea views and large patio

Lovely apartment with an exceptionally large balcony, partly shaded and partly open, which has a view of the sea and Venus beach, and it catches the sun most of the day ending with a beautiful sunset view. Very comfortable apartment with a good sized lounge area and well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms which have one double and two single beds and there's one bathroom with a reasonable shower. Hot water is on a timer so make sure it's turned on to "Boost" 30mins before the hot water is needed then let the water run for a while until the hot comes through. There's a fan in every room which is great but also each room has AC. The apartment is well located with Lidl next door, literally 1min walk away. Bus stop in front of Lidl, and Venus beach 5mins away. The host Jen is very attentive and on call with any issues. All in all we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this apartment to everyone.

What let's this apartment down are the beds. The mattresses are poor quality and the springs can be felt. We turned them and that made a difference, but new mattresses or good quality memory foam toppers are needed. As the apartment is in front of the main road noise from the traffic can be heard with the windows and patio doors open, but later in the evening the traffic noise dies down and during the night there's very little traffic. With the windows and patio doors shut the double glazing cuts out most of the noise.
