Agat Yurt Camp

Agat Yurt Camp was fantastic. Oleg was very helpful in communication leading up to our arrival, and we had a fantastic stay at the property. The yurts are very comfy and spacious (and come with a heater if you're cold). The rest of property is just as great too. The eating area is such a fun, creative spot to hangout for meals, the beach is easily accessible with a short walk, and the shower facilities were fantastic with good pressure and hot water. We ate dinner here as well, so both dinner (manti) and breakfast were delicious. Payment and check-out were smooth. Overall, this is a great spot for any traveler to break up their journey along the south of Issy-Kul and have a chance to hang by the water a bit!

Agat Camp is a huge property beautifully managed by a lovely couple, with only six yurts, which makes the experience feel peaceful and personal. The views are absolutely incredible, with a stunning canyon at the back and Issyk-Kul Lake right in front. It’s also a perfect base for exploring Skazka Canyon. The yurts are spotlessly clean and comfortable, with proper beds and a centre table. At night, they have a bonfire where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. One of the best things about the location is the easy access to Issyk-Kul Lake. You can simply walk from the back of the property and reach the lake in just 2–3 minutes. The bathrooms deserve a special mention—they are extremely clean, well maintained, and surprisingly comfortable for a yurt camp. In fact, the shower facilities were the best we experienced during our entire stay in yurts across Kyrgyzstan. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious and freshly prepared, with eggs, bread, cheese, and fresh fruits. There is also a café area where you can make tea or coffee 24 hours a day, which is a wonderful touch. Overall, Agat Camp was an amazing stay with breathtaking views, excellent cleanliness, great facilities, and warm hospitality. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Der Gatsgeber war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der Service und das Frühstück waren perfekt!! Die Lage war ebenfalls super. Zum Strand bzw. See waren es nur wenige Gehminuten. Außerdem waren sowohl die Sanitäranlagen als auch die Yurte sehr sauber.

It was a fantastic experience, and Oleg is truly the heart and soul of the place! Always ready to help and give the best advice on the most beautiful places around the lake. And having direct access to the beach is simply the best. Absolutely recommended!
