Excellent host and apartment was exactly as described. Good supplies in the kitchen and a comfortable bed. Lovely views.
Nothing really just a few things worth knowing. This is a working harbour with lots of ferries so you do hear noise from the boats. The hosts leave ear plugs in case you need them. Also the hot water tank is small so long showers aren’t the best idea. Again we managed fine just worth considering.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Very safe part of Messina to stay. Easy access. We actually walked with our two large suitcases along the ocean Promonade to the train station without any problem (20 minute flat walk). Restaurants were a 10 minute walk. Uber is available in Messina.
Shower entry was small and would a problem for a larger person. Traffic on the harbour side was a little noisy.
