Orto dei Limoni

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’accueil était très chaleureux. On a eu d’offert par le propriétaire pas mal de choses pendant le séjour notamment des boissons mais surtout des fruits et légumes du jardin (citrons, figues, prunes et oignons). Le logement était confortable et bien situé. Proche des commerces. Vue sur l’Etna.

Logement un peu sonore surtout avec des voisins irrespectueux.

The location is exceptional, just s stonethrow from the buzzing city of Giarre but on this property there is completely quiet and peaceful. Just across the farm there is another local farmer selling fresh produce, homemade olive oil and wine (delicious, worth the money) The property have a large garden with amazing lemons, cale, onions, herbs, tomatoes etc The owners let us take some if we wanted and the taste was amazing. The views are something else, the bedroom you have sunrise over the sea and if you go to the entrance you have sunset over Etna. The owner (only speaks Italian ) is kind and attentive, he will define make you feel at home. He got help from a granddaughter to translate when we first arrived (fluent in English) All in all great stay.

The bed was a bit hard (according to my wife, but I liked it)

De accomodatie was vrij nieuw, de rust, mooie tuin, groot buitenterras, het zwembad was mooi, het groen eromheen, de citroen boomgaard en verder uiteraard de gastheer Carmella. Hij was heel behulpzaam, erg attent en erg aardig.

Het bed was voor nederlandse begrippen wat aan de harde kant. Een topper zou een goede aanvulling kunnen zijn. Wat het extra compleet zou maken is een elektrische waterkoker.
