We enjoyed being in an agriturismo after urban visits elsewhere in Puglia. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. Unfortunately the on-site restaurant was closed for the season (or for olive harvest, we weren’t sure); it was a pity because I’m sure the food would have been terrific given how nice breakfast was. That said, though in the countryside, Le Fronde was less than 10 minutes from Vieste which made it easy to tour the town and go back in for dinner.

Agriturismo immerso in un incantevole tenuta di ulivi e a pochissimi minuti dal centro di Vieste. Elia e Sara sono delle persone eccezionali e solari che vi accoglieranno e vi faranno sentire a casa . Piscina confortevole in posizione tranquilla. Colazione abbondante e cosa molto importante non dimenticate di comprare il loro fantastico olio di Oliva. Saremo lieti di poter tornare a soggiornare in questo magnifico agriturismo. Che dire “Fantastico”

Zimmer modern und komfortabel eingerichtet, alles gepflegt und sauber, super Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gute Lage, man ist in wenigen Minuten mit Auto in der Stadt, sehr ruhige Umgebung in den Weinbergen

The grounds, surrounded by olive trees were lovely. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea in the distance. A very nice staff person cooked me an egg for breakfast.
We choose this place particularly because of the onsite restaurant but got a message just before checking in with list of “suggested restaurants” in Vieste (about a 10-15 minute drive). When I asked we were told the restaurant is actually “only open for a very short time.” Had we known earlier we would have tried to cancel and book elsewhere. BIG disappointment as we really wanted to eat onsite after 2 weeks of driving or walking out for dinner. Also the room, while large, clean and functional, with a good bed and nice bath, had zero decor. Not one thing on 4 white walls - very “modern Italian” I suppose, but it felt very cold and uninviting. Likewise I obtained 2 glasses after asking for them, but otherwise there was only one ceramic glass in the bath. Just not very inviting overall.
