Nunu Bali Eco Friendly Retreat

Possibly the best spot on the whole island! The staff is super attentive and helpful, the food is delicious plus healthy and the place itself is such an oasis. True paradise and the perfect place to get some rest, ground yourself and unwind! Daily activities provided free of charge as well! (yoga, family dinner, bracelet making etc.) Also three (!) pools and a beautiful garden with lots of fruit trees. The beds are some of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in, both in the privates and dorms. Plenty of privacy and space to get time for yourself as well, if you need some alone time. Third time staying here and definitely not the last time either!

There’s nothing negative to say at all. All my 3 stays here have been absolutely perfect.

It’s such a special place and the perfect escape from the chaos. The staff are amazing and love all the activities you get included. I will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Seems like a good place to stay in a calm place surrounded by green areas while still being at an accessible distance from central Canggu area with 30min Grab / Gojek drive for 40k-60k IDR I only stayed for a short time, so I couldn't take part in the suggested activities, so people who stay for at least a week could maybe tell more about those. The restaurant is a separate entity a few meters by walk from the venue, prices were ok though I would have expected larger portions. They don't seems to receive many guests so choice is often more limited than what they show in the menu, probably because they don't have much ingredient stock or the chef is not always there.

There was a considerable amount of dust and hair under the beds There's no much choice to eat around apart from small convenience stores, unless taking a gojek / grab to reach the main avenue, which is actually close but, since there's no connection with the street just in front of the venue, you have to go around 2.5km to be able to cross the nearest bridge. I sleep with earplugs and headphones so I was mostly ok, but if you're sensitive to noise, know that there's sometimes local celebrations happening in the night and you can hear them clearly in the room

This place is a hidden gem in a pristine village where you can observe traditional Balinese lifestyle and culture. Everywhere you look is like a postcard, it's the perfect place to decompress and rejuvenate. They have an excellent restaurant as well, you can do anything from indulging yourself with banana pancakes and mango lassis to conducting your own juice cleanse. Everyone I met was super friendly and helpful. Also, I recommend visiting the nearby Nuanu Creative Park.

There are a lot of nature noises at night: frogs, geckos, birds, etc. so best to bring a good pair of earplugs.
