Beautiful accommodation and an amazing view! Everything was immaculate, and up to date.
The lack of response to a concern we had. We were traveling with medication that needed refrigerated, but the refrigerator did not reach proper temperature. We reported it, but heard nothing until after we left. Also, we planned to use the washer and it did not work either. Both were reasons we chose the property.

Just the hills around it but part in parcel of having such great views

The location was fantastic. Amazing view over the bay. Didn't use the car at all during our holiday. The local restaurants and bars were all excellent with friendly staff who made you feel like a local.Charlie Fridays is a must, as is Kensington. The GreenHouse does a great Sunday lunch. Some nice little shops. Nice walk down to Lynmouth via the hill walk. Some nice pubs and shops can also be found at Lynmouth. Some fantastic walks to Waters Meets and the Glen Lyne Gorge. The Valley of the Rocks is a must, the cafe does a great Cherry Pie. The house was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook. Great view from the patio looking over to Wales. We spent quite a lot of time in the evenings sitting in the bedroom window with a drink looking over the bay. There was plenty of parking just a bit tight. We parked right by the house opposite the turning area as the exit road is no longer used.Very relaxing holiday.
There was nothing we didn't like.Only very minor issues that didn't detract from our experience that are easily rectified.Master bedroom needs a new mattress. Patio furniture needs to be renewed as when we sat at it, we got covered in flakes of blue paint. The second bedroom needs the shelving unit removed as it isn't possible to close the blinds, and it makes it very hard to get into and out of the bed.Maybe also install a window instead of the door or put shelves there rather than a shelving unit.In the main bedroom the step into the bathroom needs to be modified as it's very was easy to slip down the step. These things did not take anything away from the property they would just make it more user-friendly.
