This modern and exquisite 3 bedroom villa, with garden and infinity pool, offers a family and cozy atmosphere in a quiet area, ideal to enjoy moments of full relaxation during the vacations.
This dream property offers three suites with double bed, private bathroom and balcony with a superb view, on the upper floor. Still in this area of the house, you will find a room equipped for physical exercise, a games room, and an outdoor area with a lounge space.
On the lower floor, the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living area and office area in open space provide a feeling of great space and comfort. On this floor, there is also a guest toilet and access is made to the outside, where you will find a pleasant garden, an infinity pool (with possibility of being heated), sun loungers, a relaxation area and a dining area.
The sublime view of the sea and Funchal, as well as the fantastic sunset, provide an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility for those looking to enjoy a totally revitalizing stay.
This property offers a very comfortable family environment and all the necessary amenities for an unforgettable stay.

The property is located in Lazareto, a very quiet and sunny area, just minutes away from the Funchal city center.
It is close to the Miradouro do Lazareto (viewpoint), Barreirinha’s beach, Forte de São Tiago, Funchal-Monte cable car, Lavradores Market, restaurants, bars, local shops and other services.
In Funchal's city center there are several touristic points of interest and information about cultural activities, radical activities, and nature-related activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

My family and I had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Close to Funchal and easy to access all parts of Madeira in a couple of hire cars.
The facilities were exceptional and everything we could have needed was available.
The pool is great, garden spacious and living quarters maintained to a high standard.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book the villa again on our next trip to Madeira

The home is high on a hill, modern and very clean. The pool is wonderful and a perfect temperature. We stayed for 1 month. Beatrice met us at the house and responded to our questions quickly. The cleaning crew came in once a week which was fantastic
We were not prepared for how steep and narrow the roads were in our area, but it appears to be the norm. My husband eventually became an expert driver. Madeira is a wonderful place to visit. We are happy we chose An Island Apart.

We had an amazing time here. The views are amazing, and the sunsets are a dream. The villa was as imagined, the pool just brilliant and a speedy 5 minute car journey into the old town where there are many bars and restaurants. Reid’s Palace for a G&T is only ten! Great villa and highly recommend.

Style over substance in design concept. Generally well equipped with a good room layout, even if kitchen is isolated from other living areas.
Narrow, steep access with weeds increasingly growing out through the brickwork.
External cladding deteriorating: some has fallen off.
Needs a facelift.
