We had a great two night stay at this lake house. We had 6 adults and 2 kids, and it fit us perfectly. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for cooking and hanging out. We loved the outdoor toys (paddle board, floaties) and it was really awesome to be able to rent their pontoon for the day! The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring and swimming here!

The house was as described. Space feels smaller than pictures make it seem, but it is plenty of space for 8 people. The lower level bedroom is near the laundry and you can hear the well pump when it kicks on. You may want a white noise machine, if this kind of intermittent noise would bother you. The loft area has plenty of room, but is plenty of space and gets kind of warm as you would expect of that space, if you're not using the ceiling fan. May want to bring an additional fan to help with that.The house needs more plates and bowls as there aren't enough of them for 8 people, but overall the kitchen has the items you need for cooking your own meals. Including a blender, coffee maker, and toaster. Switches in the house were well labeled too.The house looks recently updated and the view from the deck and patio below of the lake are indeed mesmerizing. The outdoor shower was not turned on so I would not count on using that.The fire pit was nice and we got some wood from a local roadside stand.The house had a stand-up paddleboard that was fun to use and also a peddle boat. You can get a pontoon boat through the host if it's available. We didn't rent the boat though.I brought some kayaks, explored the nice lake and had a great time paddling around. The Dublin General Store has a good variety of items and even a little pharmacy and is about 15 minutes from the house. Manistee was fun to explore too but we were too late to get stuff from bakery there.
