About this house rental
Relax and enjoy our newly renovated, stylish South Austin home. Conveniently located in a quiet, family friendly and walkable neighborhood. Perfect for families, people traveling for work, medical workers, and corporate rentals.
Extended stays are welcome!
Our home is a short 15 minutes from downtown Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The house features an oversized fenced and gated backyard including:
- Gas fire pit with seating area
- Patio dining area
- BBQ grill
The kitchen includes refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen island, and everything you need to cook.
Bedrooms have queen beds with high quality linens, smart TVs with Netflix/HBO/Hulu/Disney, and room darkening shades for a restful sleep.
The upstairs area has a dedicated office space.
The two car garage is furnished with a washer/dryer.
The house contains central air conditioning (AC) and heating, ceiling fans and a cozy fireplace.
Guests will have access to the entire space.
Guests are required to verify their identity with our third-party provider before check-in. To provide our guests and properties with extra protection, guests agree to pay a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
Southwest Oaks was built in the early 1980s with many of the homes being recently remodeled. Southwest Oaks homes are a bit bigger than homes built during that timeframe making this an ideal choice for someone looking for an established neighborhood but who needs a bit more space. Within a few blocks, at the bottom of Manassas street, there is the Grand Oaks Loop nature trail that has a creek and wooded area.
Southwest Oaks is a very walkable neighborhood with ample parking on the street in addition to the onsite parking included.
Professional cleaning and landscaping service will be scheduled every two weeks on an agreed upon date if staying for an extended period.
Quiet time from 8pm to 8am. This is a quiet residential community.
Pets must be approved by host before booking. Please share the breed, age, and size of animal(s) in the inquiry prior to approval.

Great Stay in a Spacious Home, Wonderful Host!Our family really enjoyed our stay here! Thank you to Dan and his wife who are incredibly kind, understanding, and always responsive. We noticed an issue with one of the lights (which honestly didn’t bother us), the host arranged for it to be fixed right away, explaining that it was a security concern and they wanted us to feel safe. That attention to detail meant a lot. We also needed to extend our stay last minute and the host took care of it promptly, making the process stress-free. The house itself is spacious, clean, and packed with amenities. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, which made meals at home easy. Our little one loved the garden, playing outside or just watching the squirrels in the trees was a highlight! Having a TV in every room came in handy, everyone could pick their favorite shows without any arguments.The location was perfect: easy access to everything Austin has to offer, and if you like to walk, it’s a safe area with friendly neighbours. Highly recommend this property for a comfortable, homely, and enjoyable stay!

Clean, modern, spacious rooms, and very efficient. Really, it was just right for us as we were coming from New England to visit family in Austin; this home was close to all kinds of great places to eat, plus a pretty walking path to a free pool, and quick routes to hill country and downtown. Definitely would stay here next time I’m visiting my son and grandchildren!

This home was spacious and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. We felt safe. My only suggestion would be to secure the pet door with something sturdier than the plastic cover.We would stay here again on our next visit.
