About this cabin rental
A compliment to our Lodge, the River Cabin is located along the Michigamme River. The cabin is two stories andfeatures a second floor master bedroom with full bath and balcony overlooking the river. On the ground floor is a fully appointed kitchen, a living and dining area with stone fireplace and bedroom with half bath. A three season porch overlooks the front yard. The cabin has broadband wireless internet, sirius satelitte radio, a outdoor firepit and charcoal grill. In addition, guests have a dock on the river and a private sauna and dock located on Juncob Lake along with access to an extensive trail network.If you love classic old log cabins, this is the place for you.

Very clean and had everything you could possibly need- even some stuff you didn't think you would need.My son thoroughly enjoyed the river and canoe.Very charming and the fireplace was gorgeous.Probably only complaint ( not really a complaint because it didn't affect us) was that the stairs were really steep and the shower was a headbanger. Thank you! We had a great time.

The cabin is comfortably rustic, and very peaceful, charming and historic. The frosty mugs in the freezer were an awesome added touch! We found loads of scenic stops, great eateries and fantastic beer in our three one-day trips. Glass bottom boat tour of shipwrecks and painted rock cliffs, water falls, sandy beaches, but no moose. Loved the 906 Bar and Konisjon Brygeri in Marquette. Evenings were rainy and chilly but the fireplace made that all "go away". We also caught a few bass in the river!
