Apartment in an exclusive residential area, 200 m from the waterfront

If I could, I would copy the first paragraph verbatim written by Noel B. Seriously I could not have said it better. Sitting on the patio looking out over the water was absolutely the best. Looking forward to returning.

Everything about the property was good from the warm welcome of Daniela, Cosimo and their charming little daughter Serena, to the apartment which was spotless and with everything you could want. The outlook from the patio was so beautiful and was the perfect place for meals or just simply watching the sun go down with a glass or three!! We loved the Mediterranean garden and were grateful to be allowed use of the beautiful pool when convenient to the family. It was so cleverly laid out to give private corners where one could enjoy the sun. We had a delicious meal one evening- starter and main course by Cosimo, a Chef in a previous life, and desert by Daniela, Very reasonably priced and thoroughly recommended. All in all this was probably one of the best places we have stayed- and we have visited Corsica many times. The only snag was that it all made it harder to wander too far, though we did manage a few drives into the mountains via L'Ospedale to the Col de Bavella, a favourite of many years, and over to Campomoro via Levie, and visited the beautiful Palombaggia beach most days just down the road. So thank you again to Daniela, with her perfect English, for accepting our Sunday to Sunday booking so we could fly in to Figari courtesy of BA (charter), and for supplying bedding. We so look forward to returning to this wonderful spot.

We loved our stay there, if was one of our best accommodation we ever had. Lovely apartment, very spacious, beautiful Mediterranean garden and of course the stunning view from the terrace where we enjoyed our meals. But most importantly - the whole place has a great atmosphere (owning mainly to its owners) so we really felt like home there. Daniela did everything she could to make us comfortable, together with her husband Cosimo they were perfect hosts and our little son played with their adorable daughter and missed her when we left. The location is great for trips in Corse du Sud, everything is quite near. Highly recommended - when we return to Corsica we return to this place as well for sure!

Where to begin? The pictures barely do this jewel of a property justice--it is stunningly beautiful, in exotic surroundings, peaceful and the best place all-around I have stayed in nearly 40 years of travel. The place is magical--with an amazing location and hosts--nothing else quite like it. We were provided perfect directions in advance and the logistics went smoothly. It helps that Daniela speaks nearly every European language--amazing! When we arrived, we were speechless at the stunningly beautiful view from the terrace--and how cute, clean, private and well-equipped the apartment is---even a beach umbrella and cooler. Cable and internet worked flawlessly--not that we had much time for that. The things to do in the area are endless--from beautiful beaches to cities to hiking and excursions. The materials available in the apartment were helpful in deciding what to do--along with great advice from our hosts. Daniela and Cosimo and their cute little daughter are such warm and welcoming couple--we felt their warmth and sincerity instantly. No wonder their guests return again and again!! Cosimo (Italian) was head chef on cruise liners for over 20 years and we took them up on an offer to have him make dinner for us. What a wonderful treat that was--an absolutely fabulous meal with a beautiful view from their terrace. It was the best meal we had on the island--as a matter of fact, one of the best meals we have ever had--and not too expensive either.
