Spectacularly situated on the banks of the Columbia River, this waterfront home in Richland envelops you in its peace and tranquility. This is a place to truly escape from the outside world, as you spend your days canoeing and kayaking, observing local wildlife, and taking in gorgeous riverfront views.

This home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac shared with just five other houses, in a mature neighborhood of North Richland that's half a mile from the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus. You'll be half a block from a launch area for canoes and kayaks, around the corner from a riverfront walking and biking trail, and within two miles of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, a grocery store, and all sorts of conveniences in town.

Wildlife enthusiasts will delight in this special setting - one that's frequented by bald eagles, hawks, Canadian geese, red fox, coyotes, deer, and the occasional elk. Begin each morning with coffee at sunrise on the patio, an alfresco breakfast on the large covered deck, and a glimpse of the local beaver family heading home to their hut just south of the house. Spend the rest of each day barbecuing on the deck and watching your kids play in the expansive front and backyards.

The Columbia is on full display inside as well, with direct river views both upstairs and down. Enjoy an open living and dining area with east-facing picture windows and a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an espresso maker, an Instant Pot, a food processor, an electric griddle, and other bonus tools. This is also an ideal place to work from home, with two offices on the main floor, a desk in the kitchen, and workspaces in two downstairs bedrooms.

Of the bedrooms, one is on the main floor and three are downstairs, joined by an additional family room with a cozy sectional and a TV for family movie nights.

My husband & I stayed w/my sister and her husband. The view was better than in the pictures. The house was laid out well & had everything we needed. It was way more room than we needed but we'd stay again since we liked it so much. It would be a great place for a much bigger group.

Beautiful.Keypad code did not work for us. But host contact gave me her code which worked just fine.

Lovely home on the river. Decor is a bit overdone and scattered; front door combination is unnecessarily complicated. But beds were comfortable and hvac was easy to operate. There was a lot of personal property in the kitchen, fridge, and some cupboards and drawers. But the house worked well for our needs.
