We adore this holiday home set in a peaceful location within the New Forest National Park, offering far-reaching views and ponies at the door.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
First Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview Smart TV
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Small courtyard with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Grounds with woodland. On road parking. No smoking.. The Annexe @ The Roost is a wonderful holiday home to simply relax in, a lovely setting for a long weekend, or as an ideal base to explore further afield for a longer stay. This home makes the very most of its location with an upside-down layout, a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, the first floor offers a lovely living/dining area with far-reaching views across the New Forest National Park. There is a modern, well-equipped kitchen and outside is a private seating area that’s perfect to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or a gin and tonic after a day of exploring to watch the donkeys, horses and cows wander past.
With miles of walking or cycling tracks from the door and a cozy local village inn with a lovely garden (and extensive menu) a short stroll away you can enjoy a break from driving and enjoy the forest at a slower pace to really appreciate its beauty and tranquillity.
For keen walkers or cyclists, there are many other pretty villages to explore, many with village pubs to enjoy a gastronomic treat too! This holiday home is also well placed for road links to the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, the stunning Christchurch Harbour and the beautiful coastline including Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Studland and Swanage.
Other places of interest include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Marwell Zoo, Bovington Tank Museum and New Forest Wildlife Park are worth a visit. There are many amazing country houses and gardens such as Broadlands at Romey, Wilton House in Salisbury, Kingston Lacy in Wimborne, and Exbury House and Gardens along with seasonal events such as the three days New Forest Show, the Great Dorset Steam Fair, and the Great Dorset Chilli Festival. Whatever your reason for choosing this home, we are certain it will leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and longing to return. Beach 15 miles. Pub and restaurant 175 yards.

A perfect place for a mini break. Accommodation was clean and well equipped. Dog friendly and lots of great walks on your door step.

Beautiful area so close to the forest. A lovely upside down cottage. Nice views from rear windows. Great to see wild life walking past. Over whelmed by generous welcome pack, too many goodies to list. Both my dogs enjoyed their stay, lots of lovely walks for them in the forest. A small dog gate at the top of the stairs dog maybe a good idea? Enjoyed the break very much.
