About this cabin rental

Cozy mountain cabin retreat with HEAT PUMP for air conditioning or heat. Located in the mountains just a few minutes from lake Almanor and Mountain town of Chester.Creeks, Hunting, Fishing, UTV or ATV mountain off-roading , within 2-3 miles distance.... Winter is special and beautiful with snow and perfect setting for Christmas and Thanksgiving away . 2 blocks away within walking distance is a quaint restaurant offering home cooked food. All towns people are very friendly welcoming all who visit. Spring is delightful in the pine tree setting all around. and the aroma of pine where squirrels, rabbits, deer are visible everywhere in the rustling woods..

The cabin is everything shown in the listing..and more. The photos don't do justice to all the personal touches and thoughtful conveniences at the property. Its cozy, comfortable, and well appointed. We had a great local dinner at the lodge nearby recommended by the host. The property couldn't be more convenient to Lassen Park. The location is very quiet most of the time. The only complaint is that a loud motor came on at 5 am each morning behind the bedroom (a generator?) The first morning it turned off after ten minutes, but the next morning it stayed on for a few hours. All in all, highly recommended.

The location and place was great. The host was very accommodating and gave great recommendations. The place was nice quaint and well worth the stay. Me and my wife would stay there again.

The cabin was just right for four of us - two parents and two adult kids - as a base camp while attending a local wedding. It was clean, quiet, towels supplied, and with easy parking. We would happily rent here again.
