We came to Detroit to Walleye fish and to spend time with family. The men in our group came to the house 3 days early and aren’t picky people. There was garbage in the yard, including empty liquor bottles. The house was dirty. The ceiling fans had an inch of dust, the microwave looked like something boiled over in it, dirty carpets and floors, the toilet had stains left in it, the glass coffee table had dirt on it, and the shower had tons of soaps left in it. The check in sign states that you can “eat any of the food in the house”, this felt like a safety hazard as some of the food items were open. It honestly looked like someone was living there and then left abruptly for us to come stay there for the week. When I initially reached out to the host, they stated that they were too sick to communicate over the phone. They stated they would send a cleaning lady the next day at 9 am. At 9:30 the next day, we reached out to the host, inquiring when the cleaning person would come as no one came at 9 like we were told. The host again responded that someone will be there the next day. The next day “the cleaning person” came and went. The host reached out that day and stated that the “cleaning lady” reported the house was messy and there was a green stain on the floor, this was not true, the guys weren’t there long enough to make a mess. We were told by the host, there was plenty of room for a boat, we then got a citation from the city of Ecorse for the boat being in the driveway.

It was the perfect home for a couple day trip the neighborhood was nice close to stores & restaurants the home was spacious & nice just like the photos I had a great time & would stay again

there was broken loose tiles on the steps the listing said they had two sets of bunk beds olny had one set has a good size back yard with fire pit that you cant use on the good side of it you are only 15mins from downtown Detroit but besides the negatives it was a good stay

Online listing indicates multiple beds in rooms. I figured this out from the pictures but just mentioning so that it can get fixed. House had a nasty smell and kitchen counter and most floors were sticky. No AC, which we were not expecting, but upstairs bedrooms were almost unbearable to sleep in on a hot night. Towels were of poor quality. Planned to stay 2 nights but ended up getting a hotel on the second night. Host is very responsive to communication.

I actually loved the house, both levels are absolutely beautiful, very spacious for a small crowd. Owner very respectful and has great communication. Overall loved my stay .

Nice and cozy apartment in a residential area. Ken, the owner, was very responsive and welcoming. Not too far from downtown and the airport. I would stay there again.
