Breakfast was served in a cardboard box left at the door at 6am. There was nothing wrong with that, I don’t believe the Hotel had any catering facilities. The rooms are scrupulously clean, enormous and extravagant, but for a reason …. The car parking garage is located at the ground floor, right next to the hotel lobby.
Not being a native Japanese I was unaware this was not only a bona fide overnight (Tourist) Hotel, but its main function is for short - time room hire for lovers. There is nothing wrong with that either, but I’d have probably not used this very comfortable Hotel if I’d fully understood its core business at the outset.
