The location was great, within walking distance to Liseberg and Universeum and ok bus connections to the center. Also very cosy with the little garden. A nice trail close by to for people wanting to move a bit. The owner met us up on arrival, she was nice and forthcoming and showed us the essentials and quirks of the house.

The house was a bit messy, for instance when opening a cupboard in the kitchen it would be filled with makeup looking like it was thrown in. Not a big problem though. The cleanliness was however a problem. The fridge was really nasty and I had to wash a couple of shelves before putting our food there. It was black like mold along the edges of the plastic. Didn't really want to store our food in there. Also there were several items in the kitchen you could feel/see were greasy. We didn't do any cooking, only had simple breakfast. The bathroom was more or less clean enough, but it did have a funky sweetly smell that might be fungus. The beds didn't feel or look clean either, a lot of hair and crumbs seen at the edge of the bottom mattress (below the thin upper mattress). We tried ignoring it and didn't look underneath any beds or sofas. In general the house and furniture really needed a proper wash down, that would make it a great stay. Other than that we missed curtains in the small rooms in the attic.
