You shall expect to be hosted by an amazing and exquisite gentleman that is showing helpful manners and an even greater care and solicitousness to host his guests, and managing his family homestay to a high standard and maintaining a local vibe, adding an even greater value to what is already probably the best and smart option to stay at by far compared to its competitors Impeccable and elegant rooms in a traditional ladakhi style not exactly centrally located, a 15 minutes walk to downtown Leh, consequently avoiding the mass tourism downside. Located in a local popular residential area, quiet from the main street with fascinating local lifestyle. Traditional but modern style rooms (ask for the large room on the first floor) with a view over the garden and trees that are a rare gems in busy Leh considering that other hotels are often overpriced and mediocre quality. Highly recommended.

The nature of the owner Mr. Wangchuk was excellent. He used to personally check on our comfort and go out of the way to help his guests in his own car and prepare breakfast by himself of their choice & taste. Never experienced this level of hospitality.... The breakfast was excellent and always on time. Rooms are clean big size with attached washrooms equally large in size having 24 hrs working geysers. He cooks organic food from his own garden. The apple trees in his yard are so wonderful, with juicy apples.

There was nothing not to be liked.

Host family was very lovely, felt immediately like at home. Witnessed local culture, food and fresh fruits from their farm. The best part is to have apple plucked directly from trees, washed there at ground and ...wow what a delicious experience. Mint tea brewed from fresh leaves ...

Room was beautifully decorated. I was given a room heater in the evening as it was raining and it got cold in the evening. However, I could not charge my cell phones with the socket provided in the room. Would be safe to carry an adapter.

It was mentioned that tea/coffee maker is provided, which was not. Instead I got hot water in a thermos. That was okay. Service was prompt and warm. Toiletries and tissue paper were not provided. I did not ask for them, though. I left early in the morning, so cannot say anything about food served in breakfast. Geyser in the bathroom looked ill maintained.
