The location is very central, the apartment is very spacious and really well equipped. Size wise, the best we've seen in this part of the world. The managing agents were very helpful notwithstanding the comments below.

The central location comes with huge street noise from drunken and drugged party returners, all through the night. One bedroom is noisy. The other two are rather dark. The key collection office is in a restricted traffic street. No one alerts you to that, so driving in will cost cca €200 in fines, so one better budget for that. Basically, this apartment is not for anyone arriving by car. The managing agent should change their key collection instructions to warn tourists of the penalties involved. When one arrives there, it's far too late to tell them: "of course you will have to pay a fine, you should have left your car outside this zone". On a rainy day, a statement like that goes down really well. The rubbish disposal instructions are not tourist friendly. It would appear that "everyone" leaves their rubbish on the street by a rubbish bin, whereas the instructions in the apartment ask tourists to take rubbish several blocks away. There is also an unusual "fair use policy" for electricity, stipulating that anything above 20kWh per day will be charged extra. I get it - it is designed to discourage leaving all AC units on all the time, but...

It’s nicely located (near the city centre) with lots of restaurants, bars and stores nearby. The apartment is clean and pretty well maintained - a little refurbishment wouldn’t kill it, but overall it’s fine :) well equipped with fresh towels, coffee machine (pods) and Italian coffee maker. Beds are not the most comfortable ones, but they’re just fine. Really amazing and available staff :)

There are 3 bedrooms in the apartment - one of them is facing the street, two are facing the patio. The one facing the street is terribly noisy, the other two are quiet. There are MANY people walking at night, especially Friday night - and they’re REALLY loud. It feels like they’re in the same room with you :( I’ve had my earplugs in, but still some party people managed to wake me up at 4 a.m. yelling on the street. Be careful - if you’re light sleeper and end up in the noisy bedroom, you’re in a really bad situation.

Lots of noise from the street throughout the night meant the person in the front bedroom got very little sleep. No double glazing.

The apartment is relatively spacious, which is certainly a positive feature. Its location is also convenient, with Málaga city centre and the main pedestrian shopping street approximately a 10-minute walk away. A coffee machine is provided, although not a single coffee capsule was included. While this is a minor detail, I would consider a coffee machine with at least a few complimentary capsules a reasonable basic expectation for a three-bedroom holiday apartment.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. 1. Unacceptable deposit procedure: Despite having paid approximately €700 in full, we were asked to pay an additional €150 security deposit upon arrival at Málaga Airport, using an unfamiliar external payment link. I offered cash or an instant Spanish bank transfer, but both were refused. Even Booking.com flagged the link as suspicious and removed it from their messaging system! Management nevertheless threatened to withhold our keys unless we used their link, potentially leaving us without accommodation or a refund. 2. Misleading photographs: The apartment is considerably more worn than the listing suggests. The bathtub was rusty, walls and fixtures were deteriorated, and the toilet brush holder was broken. Although relatively clean, the property had a persistent musty smell. 3. Non-working air conditioning: Several units had different remote controls, some with dead batteries. Once switched on, the air conditioning merely circulated warm air without cooling. With indoor temperatures around 30–32°C, staying there was extremely uncomfortable. 4. Excessive noise: Only AFTER payment were we informed that the first-floor apartment was in a noisy location and that noise complaints would not be accepted. The street noise was considerable even with the windows closed (mostly due to drunk people), while opening them was almost unavoidable because the air conditioning did not work. 5. Inconvenient key collection: After arriving at the advertised address by taxi, we had to drag our luggage another 700–800 metres to collect the keys from a different building. Conclusion: Outdated photographs, poor maintenance, ineffective air conditioning, excessive noise, questionable payment procedures and inflexible management. Important conditions were disclosed only after payment. I cannot recommend this property.
