Definitely worth it it’s just the drive to get up there the road was narrow and in winter slippery so be careful with th

The vibe was cozy and really clean. The bed was really comfortable and the decor was beautiful.

Nice place to stay in Mavrovo if you don't insist on being within walking distance to the ski-lifts.

The place is cosy, well-equipped, looks nice, and has free parking.

The location shown on the map on the Booking.com site is not the real one. On the site, the marked location is very close to the ski lifts and ski rental places, and that was the main reason we picked this particular accommodation. In reality, the location is completely different—far uphill in a complex of apartments at the end of a steep, winding road. Because of the steepness, it’s not really walkable (especially with ski equipment), so getting to the ski lifts requires a car—exactly what we were trying to avoid.

Don't be fooled by the pictures

There was black mold all over the bathroom all over the fake tile on the walls, the lights around the mirror were falling off, the place seemed unfinished and not cleaned well. Not a great experience. Our worst stay of this trip

A perfect mountain retreat that felt just like home

We really enjoyed our stay at Mickitos Apartment in Mavrovo. The location was perfect, peaceful, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The host was friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We especially appreciated the warm, homely atmosphere and the direct access to nature.

Relaxing stay in Mavrovo

I recently stayed at this apartment and had an amazing experience. The apartment was well-equipped with all the facilities needed for cooking, heating, and overall comfort. It was clean, spacious, and just as advertised—honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The host was incredibly helpful and super responsive, making check-in smooth and quickly addressing any questions I had during my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

Appartement met alle faciliteiten, maar ruimte voor verbetering.

De accommodatie heeft alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. De communicatie gaat erg gemakkelijk. Je kunt online betalen en je krijgt digitaal een code toegestuurd om in het appartement te komen.

De badkamer was erg koud en kon niet worden opgewarmd. Hierdoor is het ook erg vochtig in de badkamer en droogt het niet goed. Daarnaast ontbraken de batterijen in een van de afstandsbedieningen. Netflix kan niet worden gekeken op de televisie, daar deze verouderd is. Het is wel mogelijk om series en films te kijken via Stremio op de televisie, maar dit liep regelmatig vast.

Prima verblijf voor ons op doorreis.

Het bed is uitstekend en het appartement biedt veel privacy. Modern ingericht. Wel wat afgelegen, dus ideaal voor de rustzoeker.

Uitzicht was minder. Geen buitenruimte. In de directe omgeving weinig horeca.
