Matam-is Cafe & Homestay

The location is great, it is right next to General Luna. The room was nice and comfortable and I was able to check in earlier which I really appreciate :)

First day the bedsheet was not very clean but I asked to change it and there was absolutely no issue with it :)

The property was close enough to the main Tourism Road but far enough to be away from people being out and about. The room was cozy, had everything I needed. There's even a cafe on the property itself if you didn't want to think about where to eat and grab a coffee at the start of your day. I appreciated that there was a water dispenser on the property and I didn't need to think about having safe drinking water during my stay.

Not their fault and it didn't bother me but it could for others - there was a neighbouring property that was doing karaoke throughout the night and though I didn't care for it much, this might be a dealbreaker for some. I'm not sure if this is a normal occurrence since I did stay closer to Christmas and people could just be in a jolly singing mood, though in the Philippines there's no need for an occasion to want to sing. The room I also stayed in was on the second floor, with steep, narrow stairs to get to it. This may be an accessibility issue in general and for those with large luggage - though I was fine because I just had a backpack. Something to think about before booking that particular room!

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und wurden hervorragend umsorgt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir waren 4 Wochen in dieser Unterkunft und können uns über nichts beschweren. Wie überall sind hier auch die Nachbarn alle sehr freundlich. Nebenan gibt es einen Roller Verleih, Möglichkeiten die Wäsche abzugeben, Möglichkeiten Obst zu kaufen und ein gutes und günstiges Fitnessstudio. Der Besitzer ließ uns zum Check-in, zu Weihnachten und zu Neujahr mit Aufmerksamkeiten wie Kuchen und einem Geschenkkorb überraschen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Die kleine Straße vor der Unterkunft hat man im Zimmer deutlich gehört. Man gewöhnt sich dran aber es ist auch hier einiges los. Man könnte ggf. die Türen verbessern und schalldichter machen.

La ubicación es perfecta.

Es bastante pequeño, comparación a las fotos muy diferente. La ducha no tiene cortina , el baño y la ducha está todo en junto. Mucha olor a humedad .
