⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After four nights at Bananas Kumbe Villas, we honestly find it difficult to put our experience into words. The accommodation itself is beautiful. It is located just outside of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields, palm trees, and nature. Anyone looking to experience the authentic side of Bali and wake up to lush green views will love this place. The entire property was spotless throughout our stay, the bed was very comfortable, and the villa was thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the bathroom with its traditional stone and wood design. What truly makes this place special, however, are the people behind it. Wayan, Made, and Andra made our stay something we will never forget. From the very first moment, we did not feel like guests but rather like friends who were genuinely welcome. Whether it was recommendations for restaurants, local warungs, day trips, or general questions about life in Bali, they were always there for us and took so much time to help. They even offered to drive us somewhere whenever needed if we had asked, which perfectly reflects their generosity and willingness to help. We were especially impressed by the attention to the little things. Even after a long day, Wayan remembered that we had talked about coconuts earlier and surprised us by bringing us a coconut in the evening. Moments like this cannot be booked or paid for. They simply show how much heart and care go into running this place. Also the breakfast was excellent. We tried every option, but the Indonesian breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Every morning it was accompanied by fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. For around €144 for four nights, we experienced accommodation that exceeded our expectations in every way. The value for money is exceptional. If you are traveling to Bali and are looking not just for a place to stay but for a genuine Balinese experience, this is the perfect choice. The villa itself is a paradise of cleanliness and order—everything was absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained. And the food! Super gepflegte Anlage, welche von einer herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Familie geführt wird. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, vielfältig und lecker. Es gibt einen Rollerverleih (75.000IDR/Tag). Die Hütte war makellos, das Bett ist bequem, es gab einen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit, Tee und Kaffee zuzubereiten. Für unsere Zwecke war die Lage optimal. Man konnte alle Richtungen (Mount Batur, Bangli, Ubud, etc.) in max. 40 Minuten mit dem Roller erreichen. Es gibt fußläufig ein paar leckere Restaurants, einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen Wäscheservice. Das Wohlbefinden der Gäste steht bei der Familie an erster Stelle. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause 😇 Danke Made, Wayan und Andra 🙏🏼
