Glan William

This cottage is perfectly placed to explore south Wales. The accommodation was lovely, very well equipped with everything you'd need for a self catering stay. There's a local shop close by which was handy and the food at the village pub was very nice too.

Modern facilities and great decor.

Upstairs shower leaked through glass at the bottom , probable cause of the water mark on the ceiling in living room. No curtains in master bedroom. The blinds let through far too much light at night from the street light just outside the window.

The location is perfect for exploring North Wales. Parking was easy - every day we were able to park in front of the cottage. There is a Spar a couple doors up stocked with pretty much everything you could need, and it is open late. This was great for us arriving late and wanting a quick dinner. The cottage itself is perfect. It was a home away from home for us and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to take a bath after a rainy hike, and putting the fire on to sit with a book. It was incredibly peaceful, very quiet at all times. Having a utility area was very useful for dealing with wet clothes. I really couldn’t recommend Glan William more. Do not hesitate to book your stay here!

The double bed is fairly small, so we found this a little uncomfortable as we have a larger bed at home. It’s not really possible to change due to the size of the room, but just a heads up for other guests. We were very confused by the bin collection times given in the folder - which didn’t match with each other or the actual bin collection. A neighbour told us he usually takes the bin out for the property, but it would be good to update the folder.
