The gîte is in a great location. We were house hunting so we were able to travel easily to Limoges, Confolens, and Angouleme and everywhere in between. The village is quiet but there is a convenience store/bar a short walk away. We had a few small issues to deal with, but they were taken care of quickly and without much fuss.
