The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The host, Nurlan, also provided all basic essentials for the stay (body wash, shampoo, laundry detergent, kitchen utensils, etc.) The apartment is in an excellent location, walking distance from a lot of major tourist sites and parks. Nurlan was also so helpful in general.

I'd book this again. Very good location: central so we could walk everywhere, good big supermarket very close, also a Halyk Bank ATM and money changer. On the 12 bus route. We stored our bags for 1000 tenge in locked locker at Star hostel right next door until check-in. Surprisingly quiet even though it's right next to a main road. Host was great and helpful.
On the 4th floor with no lift, so think about that (but that gives it the benefit of being quiet). . I agree with a previous comment that the bedroom would improve with wider curtains to block early morning light.
