Coastal Retreat in the Heart of Kiama

The property was clean and tidy and the location directly across from the beach was excellent. Easy walking distance to everything. The property was fully equipped with everything needed.

The two toilet seats needed repairing. Everything else was great

The location was excellent, just a short walk to shops, cafes & train station, right across the road from the beach was amazing. The apartment is very clean, spacious, and quiet, the furnishings are beautiful, and the beds were comfortable with easy access to keys. We asked for a late check out without much notice, and all though they had other guest checking in, they made it happen for us. Communication was excellent. The apartment had everything you need, just take some milk with you because it is not supplied. Our 4 night stay was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect! The apartment clean and modern and had the necessary facilities and items to use for multiple night stay. The hosts were in easy contact before throughout and after the stay.

A few items looked like they needed replacing/repairing. The clothes airer was broken, the free WiFi was unreliable at times and the ensuite shower cold tap had a very loud water hammer when in use. These were only a small matters though. An extra key/fob to the unit would have been handy.

Location was good, quiet and right on the beach. Tv and access to streaming was good. Kitchen was good. Parking was good. Small things like tissues, Hand soap, magazines, cleaning stuff was good to have. Was good to have a decent vacuum in the apartment. Desk in main bedroom was a nice idea. The lounge was nice and comfortable and nice to relax in.

The room was very dirty. Sheets hadn't been changed, we went out and bought our own sheets. The towels smelled disgusting, had to wash them before use. Floors were unvacuumed. There was black human hair everywhere and dust everywhere. Didn't feel comfortable sitting on the dirty outside furniture. Spent the first few hours vacuuming, cleaning out dryer lint and removing mould from washing machine. The main shower did not maintain hot water. Had to only use ensuite shower. All remotes for fans were flashing battery needed, and one in lounge did not work correctly. It would either be on full, or off. The clothes hoist was broken. Garage door remote also needed replacing. The apartment needs a really good clean, and dust and the linen needed to be changed and actually have fitted sheets, not just flat sheets that come off when you are sleeping. You shouldn't need to spend the first few hours cleaning.
