The views from our private Jacuzzi breathtaking, the host, very responsive, and even helped us get shadow service from the airport to hotel. It’s very walkable, and there’s coffee, shops and restaurants. Every which way you turn, we would definitely be back.

We had the unique experience of staying at both properties provided by Avant Garde. We originally booked the regular suite option and were upgraded to the superior suite for our final night. Both are exceptional. Initially I believed the room had multiple suites per option as we saw two views associated with the property. We learned that the suite actually has a terrace at the front (with an umbrella, table and chairs and two sun loungers) and a terrace at the back (with another table and chairs and a jacuzzi with a large pillow to sunbathe on if you wish). So you have a caldera/island view as well as a view of the other side of Santorini. The suite had everything we needed: cutlery, fridge, air con, hairdryer, iron, toiletries, plenty of towels and even bathrobes and slippers. The superior suite was also lovely. It had a larger jacuzzi that faced the caldera and two lounge chairs on the larger front terrace and also had a terrace at the back with a table and chairs. The superior suite also had a “one bedroom” layout as opposed to a “studio” layout so it is more spacious. I don’t think I have booked an apartment that made me regret booking an expensive cocktail bar for a view as we immediately fell in love with the terrace. We actually cancelled the meal we had booked for the final night and opted for a takeaway on the terrace. We used efood but probably should have just looked into it more as Da Vinci’s around the corner also did takeaway. Santorini doesn’t really use street names/addresses so if you are like us and want to know how far of a walk/drive XYZ location is just look for Onar restaurant on google maps as it is directly across the street (even seen in one of the pictures, but it is not visible when you are sitting down on the balcony or in the front facing jacuzzi in the Superior Suite). The location was ideal. So peaceful at night and only a short walk to Fira (10-20minutes) which flies by as the views on the walk are breathtaking.

We absolutely loved our stay in Santorini and the apartment was perfect for the two of us. Great location and very helpful staff. There were plenty of nice restaurants close by and plenty to see and do. Would 100% stay here again it was fabulous
