Apartament Nad Stawem

The house is located in a quiet and picturesque area, with beautiful surroundings. The location is excellent — it’s peaceful and secluded, yet Zakopane is only a short drive away. The house was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The beds are large and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a lovely terrace with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, and a dining table, as well as a beautiful view of the pond. There was a barbecue with everything we needed for grilling, and even a badminton set, which we had so much fun playing with in the yard on our day off. The fireplace gave the house a very special and cozy atmosphere. What we loved most was the incredible sense of peace and quiet, especially after busy and noisy Zakopane. This is the kind of place where you can truly relax and let your soul rest.

We arrived on Sunday evening and all the supermarkets were closed, and the apartment didn't have shower gel and shampoo, which is essential after a long journey. There was also no tea or coffee, which is actually a first time for me, usually, these basic items are provided everywhere. The floors in the apartment are very cold, despite the hot weather, shoes or socks are needed. Also, if you don't use the fireplace, it's very cold to sleep at night, and if the fireplace is not in use, the adjacent bedroom can be seen through it, which violates privacy. We arrived tired and hungry, asked the hostess where we could have dinner, she showed us a detour through the wet grass and forest, and later we discovered that we could go straight to the restaurant through the back door, for which for some reason we did not have a key, it was provided later at my request. We returned from that dinner with completely wet shoes and socks, which was unpleasant, considering that we just arrived. The lack of screens on the windows made our place of residence home to a huge number of insects. There was no washing machine, just a bowl and a metal drying rack. The TVs were old and did not have smart TV functionality, Wi-Fi worked poorly. There was no heating in the bathroom. I was also surprised by the small towels, which quickly became wet and there was nowhere to dry them except outside. And when we left the apartment, the landlady sent a message that we broke a wall lamp and asked for compensation for the damage, but I’m sure that we didn’t break anything, otherwise we would have reported it, just like we told the landlady that we accidentally broke a plate. And the wall lamps were already in poor condition when we moved in, and I didn’t even think that this could become a problem. I think I'll look for another option next time.

Das Haus und der Garten sind herrlich schön! Unsere Kinder haben gleich die Federball Schläger entdeckt und begeistert auf der großen Wiese gespielt; später gemalt, auch dafür war alles da. Ich konnte die Familien Mahlzeiten in Ruhe vorbereiten; die Küche ist fantastisch ausgestattet. Im kleinen Laden vor Ort haben wir alles gefunden, was wir für die Tage brauchten. Besonders schön war auch, dass wir eine kleine Wanderung gleich bei der Ortseinfahrt starten konnten; es ging den Berg hoch zu einer schönen Lichtung mit gutem Blick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar absolut herrliche frische Blaubeeren aus dem Wald geschenkt!! Sie ist sehr herzlich und hat uns viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Übrigens spricht sie fantastisch deutsch. Abends haben wir zwischen den Zimmern den Kamin angemacht; der hat beide Zimmer gewärmt und war so wunderschön!

Wir hatten regnerische kühle Tage und auch in der Wohnung war es richtig kalt. Zum Glück gibt es den schönen Kamin. (Die Heizung ist im Hochsommer aus.)

Apartament bardzo czysty i zadbany. Fajnie wyposażona kuchnia. Na plus zasługuje kominek który ogrzewa obie sypialnie i dodaje klimatu. Łóżka bardzo wygodne i duże. Właścicielka przesympatyczna. Jeśli ktoś szuka czegoś przestronnego 10 minut samochodem od centrum Zakopanego to napewno się nie zawiedzie.
