It's a well located house in the centre of Lancaster. A stones throw away from the station and the castle and just a walk down to the quay. Central heating works well when it's on. Kitchen /diner quite well equipped.
Its a small place and two of the bedrooms are on the second floor along with the bathroom so there is a lot of trekking up and down stairs to wash, although there is a small toilet at the back. Its place for adults not young children but people with mobility issues will find it hard work to go up/down the stairs ..

Beautiful Georgian property with everything needed and no clutter. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Lovely touches in the kitchen, including fresh milk - thank you!
Superb location for the castle.
I would have preferred bigger towels and the option of more small towels too.
It was cold at night and one of our party didn't have enough blankets.

Lovely historic house with parking and very central.
The owner was very helpful and easy to contact when we had a few minor issues with the key and the freezer.
Loved the historical feel to the house.
If you like wonky floors, you'll be fine. House is on 3 floors so may not suit everyone.
