It's extra special to have three bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms. So everything else was just a bonus. Professionally operated, everything was great.

Provided directions brought us to the neighborhood, but not the specific house. In typical Portuguese fashion, we ended up with three very friendly separate neighbors who walked us up and down the block until we found it, so it's not so much a negative as a funny story. The hallways are a little narrow, and dishware was a little light, but those are small nitpiks with a place that offered all it needed to be.

Each bedroom had its own bathroom and toilet. There was a fridge and other electric appliances in the kitchen. It was a quiet neighborhood.

It was uncomfortable and too small for a family of four to sit indoors comfortably for dinner or breakfast, or even to watch TV. Although there were plenty of electric appliances, the tiny kitchen was very poorly equipped with cups, plates, knives, forks, etc.. There was not enough for four people, and all the cups and plates looked as if they’d been thrifted. There was a dishwasher, but no dishwashing tablets supplied. There was also a washing machine, but also there… No washing powder supplied. It was not possible to wash up in the sink as there was no sink plug. The Nespresso machine and cups pictured online were absent! It would have been a small effort (and cost) to buy some mugs and plates at Ikea (where all the cupboards were from), and to supply a small amount of basics such as dishwasher tablets and washing powder. Also simple things like salt, sugar, some cookies and a few bottles of water (for example) to start the stay would have been cheap, and very much appreciated. All we had were 1 each of tiny 1-serving packets of salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar and coffee. So for 1 (!) person. I cannot believe this house rates so high on booking.com.
