Beautiful, spacious room with great amenities and very friendly owners.

The room was beautiful and spacious, with a comfortable bed, fridge, and coffee machine. The bathroom was nice and clean. We really appreciated the warm and pleasant communication with the owners – they made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay in the beautiful Viareggio

The room is gorgeous! Seems freshly renovated, comfortable bed, lovely furnishings, very spacious and has everything you need. Super clean and tidy. The WiFi and AC work well. Easy check-in and check-out was also great, and it’s literally a 2 minute walk from the train station, which is fantastic. Hosts are also very kind and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Althea Apartment in Viareggio, Italy, and I wanted to share my incredibly positive experience. First and foremost, the location was absolutely perfect. It was ideal for exploring Viareggio and enjoying everything the area has to offer. The size of the apartment was also fantastic – it felt spacious and comfortable, providing ample room to relax. What truly made my stay exceptional was the amazing host. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful visit. Their hospitality significantly enhanced my overall experience. I highly recommend Althea Apartment to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in Viareggio. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again!

The perfect stay in Viareggio

Everything. First the location, close both to the train station and the seafront. Then the room itself, very clean, with lovely furnitures and equipped bathroom. And not to forget, the owner. She has been very helpful and nice.

We had a great stay

We had the suite. Very happy with the room and the facility, everything was brand new and well equipped. About 900 meters straight to the beach.

Parking is a bit of an issue everywhere in this town and outside, so you might have to carry your luggage a bit. Only downside is if people arrive late and slam the doors, otherwise we had a great stay.

Soggiorno comodissimo, in una struttura accogliente e pulita, vicinissima al centro di Viareggio

Mi è piaciuta moltissimo la struttura. Eravamo 9 persone e siamo stati tutti molto comodi in due appartamenti ed una stanza. I gestori sono gentilissimi ed accoglienti, cortesi e disponibili. Consigliamo certamente questa struttura!

Soggiorno perfetto, host carinissimi, molto ospitali e alloggio impeccabile.

I gestori sono stati gentilissimi, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato 2 bottigliette di acqua in frigo, tanti muffin per la colazione e cialde per il caffè. In bagno c'erano tanti prodotti per la doccia in omaggio e una gran quantità di asciugamani e carta igienica. Inoltre, per soddisfare una nostra richiesta, hanno acquistato anche una moka classica per fare il caffè, dato che nell'appartamento era presente soltanto la macchina per cialde. Sono stati sempre super disponibili e reperibili in caso di necessità. L'appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato si trova al piano terra, è molto pulito, silenzioso , in posizione comoda a tutti i servizi e alle spiagge e dotato di ogni comfort. Possiede inoltre 2 grandi smart TV e un bellissimo terrazzo.

In- en uitladen auto was wat ingewikkeld en de parkeermogelijkheid op straat is minimaal. De slaapbank in de woonkamer zakt in het midden wat in waardoor slapen met twee personen net wat oncomfortabeler is.

Appartamento grande e con potenziale, ma necessita di manutenzione.

Il posto puzza di umidità in modo davvero fastidioso, specialmente la cucina dove era quasi impossibile soggiornare senza accendere il condizionatore per ottenere un po' di deumidificazione, e presenta chiazze di umidità molto evidenti sui muri. In camera da letto è impossibile avere buio totale. I tappeti per terra, specialmente in bagno, non davano un'idea di igiene e pulito. Piatti e posateria erano lavati male, presentavano addirittura piccoli residui di cibo attaccati, e abbiamo dovuto rilavare tutti quelli che ci sono serviti prima di usarli.

Piccola fuga a Viareggio

Casa bella, pulita, ordinata, curata nei dettagli e impreziosita da un bell’arredamento. Palazzina nuova, tenuta bene e comoda alla stazione e a 5 minuti dalla passeggiata sul lungomare. Silenziosa, camera spaziosa con un bel disimpegno esterno molto grazioso, bagno piccolo ma super funzionale e con una doccia grande e molto comoda. Due televisori enormi molto belli, aria condizionata che di questi tempi fa molto piacere e come chicca finale uno spazioso e comodissimo cortiletto esterno con tavolo, sedie, stendi panni, lavabo e lavatrice il tutto riparato da un bell’ombrellone che ripara in caso di qualche pioggia. Casa perfetta, host gentilissima e disponibile a tutto. Super consigliato!!

Soluzione perfetta per godersi Viareggio, felicemente ad un passo da tutto!

La posizione è super comoda per arrivare ovunque a piedi. E' vicino alla stazione ma i treni non si sentono per nulla. Noi eravamo al primo piano, camera Queen, pulitissima. Sentivamo un po' di rumore dalla suite ma perché c'era un bimbo piccolo. Graditissimo il caffè e le tisane in camera, comodissimo il balconcino per stendere! Host gentilissima

Forse suggeriremmo di mettere uno specchio figura intera in camera in modo da non alternarsi in bagno per controllarsi :) quello del bagno è infatti l'unico specchio. Sarebbe proprio la ciliegina sulla torta ecco

Rapporto qualità /prezzo secondo me non adeguato

Da fuori e’ carina. Dista 800 metri dal lungomare. Sotto “casa” il parcheggio è tutto a pagamento , ma abbiamo sempre trovato posto .

Appena arrivi sembra carina, ma devo dire che poi tante cose si sono rivelate deludenti . Noi abbiamo preso 3 stanze su 5 , quindi direi che abbiamo testato la gran parte della struttura. Quello che viene definito appartamento al piano terra con un cortiletto privato e’ veramente invivibile . Non circola un filo d’aria , appena si entra si è accolti da un cattivo odore di umidità e una cappa di caldo insopportabile. C’è l’aria condizionata ma purtroppo non rinfresca . Lo abbiamo fatto notare alla proprietaria che ha mandato subito il papà a verificare e la sintesi è stata “l’aria condizionata è funzionante probabilmente l’avete usata in modo errato”. Assolutamente non corretto perché nelle altre due stanze oltre a funzionare , rinfrescava !!!! Risultato : due notti insonni . La stanza al piano primo QUEEN è una classica camera doppia e credo sia la “migliore” , ha anche un balcone . La stanza al secondo piano SUITE è grande e ha un bel bagno finestrato . Aria condizionata funziona benissimo. Però : la scala che dal primo piano va al secondo non è proprio comoda, ha un cucinino/ingresso senza finestra, un salottino senza finestre ma solo con due botole sul tetto (non lucernari veri e propri) di cui uno dei due senza niente che oscura per cui chi dorme sul divano letto non dorme al buio. Dal cucinino /ingresso si entra nell’altra camera ma i due ambienti sono comunicanti (senza porta) ; non ha balconi e dalla finestra della camera la visuale è quella della foto allegata. Il due cortili che si vedono in basso sono dell’appartamento al piano terra e il tetto in eternit tra i due cortili e’ della cucina dell’appartamento. Direi che c’è qualcosa da rivedere !!!

Tranquillo all’insegna del relax al mare

Il bagno e la camera pulitissimi e molto accoglienti, la posizione l’accoglienza e la gentilezza e la disponibilità della persona di contatto..

Il fatto che i parcheggi intorno sono sempre pieni e si ha molta difficoltà a trovare un posto libero.

Perfetto

Soggiorno perfetto! Stanza e bagno spaziosi, arredati con gusto. Macchina per il caffè e dolcetti per la colazione offerti. Bottigliette di acqua fresca nel frigo. Noi abbiamo scelto la stanza king con il balconcino da cui si vede la strada. La notte si dorme benissimo perché non si sentono rumori. A 2 minuti a piedi dalla stazione! Con una passeggiata di pochi minuti si raggiunge il mare. Siamo state a Viareggio per il carnevale ed e’ stato tutto perfetto. Se dovessimo tornare, sarà sicuramente ad Althea.
