The room had been remodeled, which was a great upgrade—especially since some units at this property can feel a bit dated if not updated by the owner. The pools were beautiful and appear to have been recently redone. The on-site restaurant offered solid food, and there were convenient food trucks just a short walk away. The beach directly in front of the hotel was perfect for swimming. Having a few extra essentials provided made it feel more like a hybrid condo/hotel stay rather than a typical private rental—which was not only appreciated but, in my opinion, necessary.
The Hilton next door offers more reasonably priced daily food options, which is especially helpful for families with kids. It would be great if the on-site restaurant included more family-friendly menu choices. The unit itself was great, but having to take out the trash at the end of the stay was a minor inconvenience. My parents rented a private unit and didn’t have any departure tasks or checklists to complete. It also would’ve been nice to have additional blankets for the beds—each bed had only one thin blanket, which wasn’t quite enough for comfort.

I am a retired Physical Therapist, now 71. I would recommend a grab bar for safety in the tub. The lip on the right side is a bit thin, hard to push off on. Grab bar would be easier and safer.
