Since the photos were taken, we`ve added 2 window AC units to help the central HVAC system keep the house cooler. Because it`s an older historic home, it can sometimes struggle to maintain comfortable temperatures during heat waves and the Columbia heat. These units are a great help in ensuring the house stays comfortable!
Special note:
The Cottontown Art Crawl is a free, family friendly event that takes place annually in the historic Cottontown neighborhood. The event takes place on Saturday, March 8, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that the 2500 block of Sumter Street will be closed to all traffic during this time to accommodate the event. If you`re planning to stay in the area over the weekend of March 7-9, please be aware of increased street traffic and road closures, as large crowds are expected for the event. These factors could impact your stay, so plan accordingly.
The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without a refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser.
No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund.
You must be 25 years of age or older to book one of our homes.
While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion.
Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without a refund.
No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.
No illegal substances or activities on the premises.
A starter amenity package is provided for each reservation. These items are intended as a complimentary starter supply only and may not be replenished during the stay.
Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages.
For stays longer than 21 days, we charge an additional cleaning fee. If the house is left in a state that requires additional cleaning, we will charge a fee that covers the additional expense.
Early check-in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.
Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment.
If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.

Our stay was perfect (with the exception of having an issue with the keypad code upon check-in but that was figured out relatively quickly). The house was clean, cozy and spacious. We loved the location being so close to campus and our daughter's apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We'll definitely be back!

This is a lovely, clean and comfortable house in a CHARMING neighborhood - especially pretty in the spring with lots of blooming yards! Convenient location. Had a little trouble checking in (given the wrong door code) and took a little time to get ahold of host for new code but the issue was addressed within an hour. Would stay here again!

First off can we talk about how beautiful South Carolina is…..such a Beautiful State and this house is cute, comfy and quite cozy. Even though the check in process was a little rocky and delayed about 30 minutes we were compensated for it during check-out.Little hiccups here and there ie….. lightbulbs, stove knobs little things like that, but they were instantly taken care of and nothing that was big enough to spoil our stay.The kitchen was stocked, clean and cute and the BEDS were so comfortable. I suffer from back pain and as soon as I laid down the mattress conformed to my body like a big hug. I mean I slept like a baby. All in All, if you are ever in Columbia, S.C. this is your place to stay. It’s literally close to EVERYTHING. Little shops within walking distance and everything else (Kroger, Publix, Walmar and EVERY STORE you can think of) is less than a 15 mins drive.Next time we’ll wait to visit AFTER POLLEN SEASON!!! lol
