About this apartment rental

The Bank House sits on the bank of Aquetong Creek in downtown New Hope. You get the top two floors of this remodeled historic home, starting at street level, with creek views from the top floor. Front porch, open living room and kitchen with a granite island, and a queen bedroom upstairs with a beamed ceiling. Out back: a shared creekside yard with a fountain, BBQ and outdoor dining. Two blocks to Main Street. Sleeps up to 3. The curved staircase can be tricky for limited mobility.

THE SPACE
- Living room: L-shaped sectional with full-size pull-out, armchair with ottoman, 43" 4K smart TV (Prime Video included)
- Kitchen: new appliances, dishwasher, granite island with 2 stools
- Bedroom (upstairs): queen with luxury foam mattress, beamed ceiling, two large closets
- Bathroom (upstairs): glass-enclosed shower, hair dryer, towels and linens
- Climate: mini-split heat and AC on each floor
- Outdoors: furnished front porch, and a shared backyard on the creek with a BBQ patio, dining table, fountain, and a spot to wade in the spring-fed creek

GUEST ACCESS
The top two floors are yours, with a private street-level front entrance and porch. The backyard, BBQ patio and creek are shared with neighbors (quiet after 10 PM). The BBQ patio is three flights down the outdoor stairs, and the creek one flight more. Free parking with a pass in the gravel lot about 100 yards down the street.

GOOD TO KNOW
The curved interior staircase may be hard for guests with limited mobility. Another home sits below the kitchen, so please keep noise down at night. No pets. A full guide is sent before your stay.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Two blocks to Main Street's restaurants, bars, shops and the Bucks County Playhouse. A 10-minute walk across the bridge to Lambertville's antique district and galleries. The canal towpath and the Delaware River are steps away.

GETTING AROUND

Elliot's place couldn't be better located, it's very well situated near the action of New Hope but still quiet enough for relaxation. The space is small but not cramped and has all you need. The upstairs bedroom and bath are comfortable. If a second sleeping option is needed it is a couch not a pullout sofa bed, we managed fine. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Thank you Elliot for your kindness.
