The fire pit was a wonderful and enjoyable hangout for our family after dinner. This is an old farm house with numerous old books and videos, all a treasure. The location is 5 minutes from Rhinebeck ( the Beekman Arms) and 25 minutes to the FDR historic house and the Vanderbilt mansion. We enjoyed seeing both. The owner provided some very helpful , detailed descriptions of amenities and things to know regarding the house.
