Farmhouse cuteness in Quaint Justin Tx, Walk to old town and enjoy!

Had a nice stay.

This place is perfect for a weekend trip for a couple with pets. Located in downtown Justin we were able to walk to a coffee shop and around the neighborhood with our dogs. The house is very cute and clean with a great big yard. We had a small hiccup with check in and check out details but nothing a call to the host couldn’t solve. Overall this worked perfect for us and we can definitely see ourselves coming back.

This property is the equivalent to lipstick on a pig. It looks cute, and the pictures show it well, but actually being there the flaws are abundant. The most concerning is the foundation is highly suspect - in fact, I was unwilling to use the shower because the floor area in front of it is clearly giving way - likely the result of the poorly done shower floor grout job that is allowing water to leak through to the subfloor. We could not figure out how to keep the ceiling fan on and turn off the light. And then there are the little things like the toilet paper holder sitting in the cabinet over the toilet, the burnt out bulbs in the bathroom, the mismatched knobs, the used bar of soap in the shower, shows a lack of attention to the details. The plus, it was easy enough to get to and the neighborhood was quiet enough - albeit there seems to be road construction going on everywhere you go in the state of Texas, and this area was no exception.
